PRODUCTION AREA: Rías Baixas Designation of Origin
GRAPE VARIETIES: 100% Albariño
WINE-MAKING: Bud-break at the end of March. Summer temperatures slightly lower than in 2018 and with higher rainfall. After harvesting, the grapes are cooled before being pressed. After a low-pressure pressing, the must is transferred into tanks for a settling by must flotation. The clear must is fermented at 16°C over a period of 15 days. Racking and sulphiting.
TASTING NOTES
Colour: A bright, straw-yellow colour with greenish glints.
Nose: Aromas of pineapple, white stone-fruit and mineral notes.
Palate: Fresh and soft with balanced acidity and a pleasant finish.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 6 to 8°C
FOOD PAIRINGS: Great with fish, shellfish, seafood rice dishes or Japanese cuisine.
