BELLY OF COASTAL LONGFIN TUNA IN OLIVE OIL
Made up 100% of Longfin Tuna Fish caught in coastal waters and processed at low temperature (never frozen).
The fishing season lasts throughout the summer months, especially during July and August. The fresh tuna is taken directly from the fish market to the factory for immediate cooking in order to ensure the highest quality produce.
The belly represents only 5% of the entire Longfin Tuna Fish. It is packed exclusively by hand. Fine slices of moist, tasty morsels are carefully layered in the tin to provide attractive presentation. Between the processing and the dispatch of the order, the product is always left to “macerate” a few weeks in order to enhance its flavour.
